CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man was killed and another was critically wounded early Thursday morning in a shooting on the Southwest Side.Officers responded to a shots fired call in the 6200 block of South Troy at around 2:25 a.m.A 22-year-old man was found dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. CPD said a handgun was found next to him on the ground.A witness told officers they saw a red truck speeding away after shots were fired. (KTLA) - Travis Scott's tour kicks off on Wednesday in Charlotte, North Carolina, and it may not be going the way promoters had planned. Ticket sales for his Utopia-Circus Maximus Tour have plummeted to as low as $7 on some resale sites, according to Complex.The outlet found a pair of tickets for the tour's opening night going for that extremely low price on StubHub, while a similar pair was going for close to $110 on Ticketmaster. WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) – The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) said Wednesday it achieved a 95% save rate during the 2022-23 fiscal year, which ended Sept. 30. So the shelter said it will host a free adoption weekend to celebrate. The shelter said all adoptable animals will be free to adopt from Friday to Sunday. At least five San Fernando Valley business were broken into early Thursday morning.In Encino, Salon Ferere and Esso Mediterranean Bistro, both in the 17900 block of Ventura Boulevard, were targeted at about 3:40 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.Three suspects were seen fleeing the scene, though they were able to elude an LAPD pursuit.At about 4 a.m., Vertex rx, located at 11273 Laurel Canyon Blvd. in San Fernando, was also broken into, though it is unknown if anything was stolen, police said.A similar group of three men was spotted before they fled the scene in a black sedan.Police said it's currently unknown if these are the same thieves from Encino, but the descriptions of them are the same.Another pair of break-ins in Van Nuys, Balboa Smoke Shop and Baskin-Robbins in the 7600 block of Balboa Blvd, were also reported, though details are limited about those incidents.Alexis Lewis and Alberto Mendez contributed to this report.Latest news
